Daemon Tools Ultra 3 is an imaging software suite for use with Windows computers. It combines cutting edge tools with a relatively simple user interface, allowing users more flexibility than most products on the market.

It's hard to say enough good things about Daemon Tools Ultra 3. If you're looking to mount image files or emulate virtual drives, you probably won't find a better suite of tools on the market. If you want to encrypt data or create virtual RAM drives this is the program you need. Even if you're just planning on creating a useful emergency boot disk, you'll get everything you need and more from Daemon Tools.

The downside of course is that much of what was said above may sound like gibberish to the novice user and the software won't do much to help with that. The tools are relatively user friendly, but they certainly aren't friendly to novices. There's an assumption that you have a vague idea of what you are doing when you use these tools, and if you're bewildered you probably won't find any useful help. This is a program for people who already have experience using similar programs and want more options than what they've been given.

Is this program a good download? If you already know what you're doing it's a must get. If you don't though, you're going to have to spend some time with user guides to figure out the menus and the simple basics of the program. As always, let your own experience guide you here. As a rule though, the people who know what the program can do are likely to get the most out of it.
